Cenikor Foundation is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for our facility in Tyler, Texas. This PRN role focuses on delivering individualized treatment plans, counseling services, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery.

The position emphasizes clinical documentation, adherence to care standards, and collaboration with management to uphold Cenikor's core principles. Training and professional development are available within a supportive nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Possesses strong clinical documentation skills.
• Experienced in providing education and therapeutic counseling for individuals and groups.
• Capable of identifying appropriate resources for client development and providing substance abuse counseling.
• Able to discern facts from opinions and remain objective when listening to conflicting opinions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within 24 hours of admission.
• Conduct regular treatment plan reviews each week.
• Provide individual and group counseling as scheduled.
• Assist detox clients with daily interactions.
• Work with facility staff to maintain a safe recovery environment.
• Complete discharge summaries within 24 hours of discharge.
• Create and update treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Ensure accurate documentation meeting care, funding, and billing criteria.
