Job summary

SMS InfoComm is seeking an LCD Repair Technician at our Grapevine, TX facility. You will perform testing, diagnostics, and repair of LCD/LCM modules, and final testing to ensure functionality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year LCD/LCM repair experience, and basic MS Office skills. You will inspect, dismantle, repair, test, and document results while meeting KPI targets in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years repairing LCD/LCM or similar product.
• Intermediate computer knowledge (MS Office Excel, Words, Outlook).
• Experience with Temp Agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspection/Screening for cosmetic and functional defect(s).
• Dismantle/Repair LCD/LCM modules cosmetic and functional defect at component level if qualified.
• Final Test repaired unit for functional issue and/or fixed.
• Visual Check repaired unit for cosmetic issue and/or fixed.
• Ability to inspect product thoroughly and report findings.
• Perform testing on intended products and data input when required.
• Follow instructions and meet KPI targets; multi-task across models.
• Organize test tooling and maintain 5S workspace.
