Job summary

AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team in North America. You will prepare and analyze samples, operate LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and chromatography systems, and maintain strict adherence to SOPs and EPA methods.

You will also manage data records, support QC/QA programs, document results in LIMS, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver accurate, timely analytical solutions for mining, environmental, and life sciences projects.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Working knowledge of LCMS/MS and GCMS.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples following SOPs and EPA methods.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and chromatography systems.
• Compile, verify, and validate data records and ensure data integrity.
• Adhere to QC/QA programs and document results in LIMS.
