Job summary

Onterris Payroll in Wilmington, NC seeks Analyst I or II to support multiple projects with interaction across multidisciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will analyze environmental samples using LCMSMS and GCMS and contribute to client reports with rigorous data handling.

The role begins training on 1st shift and will move to 2nd shift after training, with compensation between $22.00 and $27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry or Natural Science with relevant coursework
• 2–4 years’ experience in environmental analytical chemistry

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples utilizing LCMSMS and GCMS
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and perform routine maintenance
• Process data in accordance with SOPs for inclusion in client reports
• Proficient with office software and learn required operational software
• Aid in development and optimization of analytical methods
• Maintain and update knowledge of relevant instrumentation
• Readily adapt to change and handle other essential tasks
• Comply with laboratory QA plan and other policies
• Other duties as assigned
