ExcelPrep in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Special Education Teacher- Elementary LBS1 to deliver data-driven, individualized instruction for neurodiverse learners within a small caseload, integrated with ABA and related services. You will collect progress data, collaborate with BCBAs and therapists, and document progress while engaging families.

The program emphasizes Direct Instruction, Precision Teaching, and a developmental approach.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to guide instruction and track progress.
• Strong collaboration and communication with therapists, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to interpret data to inform individualized instruction and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized, data-driven instruction plans aligned with each learner’s goals.
• Collect, analyze, and report progress data; monitor mastery and generalization of skills.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapy and ABA teams to support sensory-motor development and language/behavior goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation (lesson plans, progress notes, IEP accommodations as applicable).
• Communicate regularly with families about progress, opportunities, and supports at home.
• Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that supports varied neurodiverse profiles.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to program refinement.
