Job summary

Stott and May Inc. is seeking a Software Solutions Specialist for North America LBM.

The role is remote with travel and focuses on leveraging deep industry knowledge to guide customer implementation projects, improve operations, and shape ERP solutions for long-term success. You will lead discovery and implementation workshops, advise on LBM best practices across purchasing, inventory, pricing, contractor sales, dispatch, estimating, rebates, EDI, and multi-branch operations, and act as a bridge

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the North American LBM industry.
• Experience with dealers, distributors, buying groups, software vendors, or ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of LBM operations and business processes.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Epicor, BisTrack, Spruce, DMSi, Agility or similar solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support customer discovery, design, and implementation workshops.
• Advise customers on LBM best practices across purchasing, inventory, pricing, contractor sales, dispatch, estimating, rebates, EDI, and multi-branch operations.
• Challenge inefficient legacy processes and recommend scalable ways of working.
• Act as a bridge between customers, project teams, product teams, and developers.
• Identify product enhancements and provide practical feedback from real-world implementations.
• Create reusable templates, workflows, and implementation guidance.
• Build trusted relationships with executives, operational leaders, and key stakeholders.
