Detailed Description

This job is a very important and integral part of the Lee Drywall, Inc. Team. We need someone who is safety minded, a self-starter, ambitious and hardworking, a true professional (team player), who does not mind working in varying temperatures and conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet if needed. We prize safety, speed and accuracy above all else, so we require this person who can pay careful attention to detail on the job, read prints, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the framing and drywall placement and condition of the job site.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Reports to site foreman. Understand blueprints and apply them to building the site/project.
• Correct use and knowledge of tools required to do the job.
• Ability to set up and use lasers and build walls and ceilings ensuring that they are plumb, level, straight and square.
• Ability to use forklift, aerial lifts and scissor lifts to complete job.
• Able to communicate with co-workers/supervisors, using basic English skills, in both written and verbal methods.
• Able to understand and perform basic math skills.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED (preferred).
• Wear proper protective clothing; long pants, shirt with sleeves, hard sole boots, hard hat and safety glasses.
• Repetitive movement: sitting, standing, squatting, crouching, bending, twisting, working in cramped spaces and getting into awkward positions while working.
• Required to work at varying heights using proper safety equipment.
• Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Working in other than ideal weather conditions, hot cold, humid.
• Exposure to contaminants and hazardous equipment. Working with, around or near other trades.
