Job summary

SBH Community Service Network Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Layette Designer to translate creative concepts into production-ready garments, ensuring alignment with quality and brand standards.

You will develop complete tech packs, manage fabric libraries, and collaborate with Technical and Graphic Designers while coordinating with overseas manufacturers to maintain design intent and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in layette, infant, or children's apparel design.
• Strong understanding of fabrications, trims, garment construction, and fit.
• Ability to independently create complete tech packs and artwork prints.
• Experience with PLM systems and apparel development processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Balance creative vision with production feasibility and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate creative concepts into comprehensive technical specifications.
• Create complete, production-ready tech packs for production.
• Maintain fabric library and supplier information in PLM.
• Collaborate with Technical and Graphic Designers on development specs and artwork.
• Work with overseas manufacturing partners to preserve design intent.
• Adhere to development deadlines and calendar guidelines.
