Job summary

Jobtailor in Wichita, KS seeks a Warehouse Associate to support inbound receiving, outbound picking, and order processing within a distribution center.

You will use a Warehouse Management System (WMS), DMS, Wrist units, and computers to process orders, safeguard assets, and maintain 5S standards across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate inbound receiving and outbound picking of part tasks within the Spirit Distribution Center
• Process outbound orders through the DMS or manually using Wrist units/computers
• Handle inbound product receipts
• Coordinate with internal CSR and management teams
• Follow established procedures and standards
• Sort and prepare deliveries arriving at the distribution center and route them to the correct destination
• Receive and process incoming deliveries into stock based on system locations and parameters
• Pick and pack orders according to work orders and instructions
• Process orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Safeguard computer equipment and customer parts
• Prepare and process orders and waves promptly
• Notify the Lead or Supervisor of problems encountered during operations
• Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and job function areas according to 5S standards

Requirements

• Ability to follow established parameters for receiving, picking, and cross-docking areas
• Ability to process orders accurately and timely in a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Ability to safely care for and safeguard computer equipment and customer parts
