Opal Foods seeks a Maintenance Lead for our Layer Farm in Hudson, CO. This hands-on role supervises maintenance techs and performs upkeep, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facilities while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

The position requires experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems, leadership ability, and the readiness to be on-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates ability to lead others.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow preventative maintenance program for production equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust to restore function.
• Assign tasks to technicians and provide guidance to the team.
• Ensure maintenance team follows PM program and keeps records.
• Be available/reachable for emergencies 24/7.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and ordering.
• Support Production Manager with related projects.
