Job summary

The role emphasizes planning, delegation, preventive/predictive maintenance, instrument calibration, and 5S practices to meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a maintenance-related associate degree, at least some leadership experience, PLC/automation knowledge, and strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• English language proficiency to read SOPs, GMPs and communicate effectively.
• Must have ability to perform essential job functions.
• Wear PPE and follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assignments and workload of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance work orders.
• Calibrate plant instrumentation (temperature, flow, pH, vacuum, pressure).
• Perform mechanical duties (pumps, valves, conveyors, gearboxes).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and machinery (3-phase 480, 220V).
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Review completed work for high quality repairs.
• Ensure product meets food safety and regulatory requirements; follow Food Safety Plan and Quality Plan.
• Implement and maintain 5S standards.
• Work safely by following procedures and safety rules.
