Job summary

Start rate: $25.75 per hour during the New Hire Orientation Period (90 days), then $28.13 per hour. Overtime is often required on the 2x2x5x5 shift.

The role includes setup, lay-up, inspection, and documentation to ensure blocks meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure and a ruler.
• Basic data entry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manually lays up sheets of Nomex paper, glass and other materials to build blocks.
• Repair and rework nonconforming materials containing uncured adhesive to meet specs.
• Set up lay-up table and verify equipment functionality.
• Lay up material by overlapping adhesive lines and heating sheets to meet block specs.
• Maintain routings and production run sheets and document work performed.
• Use a rework oven and various tools to repair nonconforming materials.
