Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana seeks compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide essential personal care in patients' homes, promoting dignity, safety, and independence. Training is provided for those not yet certified, with a supportive team environment and a patient-first philosophy.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Training provided per State and Federal laws.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding; monitor and record temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and light activities.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy and infection-control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship (letter-writing and reading).

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when requiredMonitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
