Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide essential personal care in clients' homes, promoting dignity, safety, and independence. Training is paid if not certified. We offer competitive weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment across Indiana.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient safety, and document care according to protocols to ensure high-quality home care for our clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
