Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana is hiring CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide compassionate in-home care. You will support patients with personal care, safety, and daily activities, with paid training for those not yet certified.

The role offers a flexible schedule and competitive weekly pay across Indiana. Responsibilities include reminders, mobility assistance, light meals, documentation, and companionship, while maintaining privacy and following care protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided).
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: current CPR certification.
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
