Job summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Lawn Maintenance Manager to lead multiple crews, ensure timely, high-quality lawn care, and uphold safety standards in outdoor work.

You will implement efficient schedules, train staff in mowing, edging, fertilization and weed control, manage inventory, and use MS Office to produce cost and labor reports, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of lawn maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, including plants, sod, and landscape design.
• Proficiency in mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, and weed control.
• Spanish language proficiency; bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent leadership and communication; ability to train crew members.
• Proficient in MS Office for reports and schedules.
• Experience pulling and analyzing job cost and labor reports.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clean record.

Job Summary:

As a Lawn Maintenance Manager, you oversee all our lawn maintenance operations. You will manage multiple crews, ensure efficient job completion, maintain high-quality standards, and drive customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong knowledge of landscaping principles, leadership skills, and project management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple crews of lawn maintenance technicians performing various lawn maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement efficient work schedules and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and weather conditions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and address any customer concerns promptly.

Requirements

Experience and Skills required:

• Minimum of five years of experience in lawn maintenance or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of landscaping principles, including plants, sod, and landscape design.
• Strong understanding of lawn maintenance practices, including mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, and weed control.
• Spanish language proficiency required. Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to train, coach, and support employees and communicate with customers as part of the essential functions of the position.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and train crew members.
• Proficient in MS Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating reports, schedules, and presentations.
• Experience pulling and analyzing job cost and labor reports.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Primarily works outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and sun exposure.
• Performs the essential functions of the position in an outdoor environment with frequent exposure to varying terrain and environmental conditions.

Driver's Responsibilities:

• Operates a company vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with ABC vehicle policy standards while conducting quality assurance inspections, training employees, visiting customers, and performing other job-related duties as needed.
• Assumes responsibility for routine vehicle maintenance , including monitoring tire condition, brake performance, and timely oil changes.
• Maintains compliance with all safety requirements and applicable driving regulations and promptly reports work-related injuries to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complies with company vehicle usage policies and maintains an acceptable driving record.
• Reports all vehicle accidents and incidents to the Lawn Director as soon as practicable, but no later than one hour following the occurrence.
• Maintains a valid Texas driver's license and provides updated documentation to Human Resources upon request.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 annually
