Job summary

ABC Home & Commercial Services in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance team member. You will perform mowing, edging, trimming, and related outdoor tasks, delivering high-quality landscapes while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous lawn maintenance or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outside for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Precise, consistent work output; requires patience and ability to complete tasks one by one.
• Ability to deliver quality work on a consistent basis.
• Accountability and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and maintain composure.
• Experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.
• Desire to work year-round; English speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, cleaning beds, and all other lawn maintenance work is done professionally.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for the workday and load them in the truck/trailer.
• Learn and safely use all equipment as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Become familiar with customers’ expectations and service contracts.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.

Join Our Lawn Team Today:

Training Pay: $17 - $18 (Based on Experience)

Salary Range: $65k - $75k Based on performance

Schedule: M - F with occasional Saturdays* (due to weather/other delays)

• Prepare equipment and supplies needed for the workday, i.e., trash bags, brooms, rakes, lawn tools, ice, etc., and load them in the truck and trailer.
• Learn and use all equipment efficiently and safely as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Become familiar with customers’ expectations and service contracts.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
