Job Overview

We’re looking for Lawn Maintenance Laborers to join our field crew in the Houston, TX area. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to gain hands‑on experience in lawn care and groundskeeping.

You’ll help maintain residential and commercial properties through mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanups, and other property maintenance tasks. Experience with lawn care equipment is a plus, but not required.

The starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Yearly bonus opportunities are also available if company goals are met.

What You’ll Do

• Mowing & Edging: Operate zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and edgers to maintain lawns and outdoor spaces.
• Grounds Cleanup: Use leaf blowers, rakes, and hand tools to remove debris, clippings, leaves, and trash from lawns, walkways, and garden beds.
• Property Care: Assist with pruning small bushes, managing weeds, laying mulch, and installing flowers or sod under the direction of a crew leader.
• Equipment Care: Complete daily equipment checks and properly secure tools on crew trailers at the end of each shift.
• Safety: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices around equipment and machinery.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable transportation to and from work and be able to report to work by 6:00 AM.
• Able to perform physical outdoor work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• No prior lawn care experience required. Experience with lawn care equipment is a plus, but training is provided.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
