Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain the resort’s outdoor spaces in West Yellowstone, Montana. The role involves mowing, pruning, weeding, and general upkeep of grounds to present a welcoming environment for guests.

You will operate and maintain landscaping equipment, apply chemicals as needed, assist with irrigation, and perform basic repairs. This position requires physical work outdoors in varying weather and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gardening techniques.
• Working knowledge with sprinkler systems and other landscaping equipment.
• Understanding of fertilizer, pesticide, and gasoline dispensing.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Mow, weed, rake, trim, water, and seed lawns and shrubs daily.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation and chemical handling.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, trucks, golf carts, and power tools.
• Use hand tools like loppers, saws, and shovels efficiently.
• Apply insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays.
• Assist with irrigation audits and repairs.
• Participate in general maintenance or landscaping projects.
• Remove snow via shovel or snow blower.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Greet guests attentively and provide courteous service.
• Prioritize tasks with planning and sound decision making.
• Maintain property following QA manual.
