Job summary

Reynolds Farm Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Lawn & Garden Service Technician to diagnose and repair lawn and garden equipment, small tractors, and outdoor power gear for customers and the dealership.

You will maintain tool and workspace condition, follow OSHA safety rules, and document all diagnostics, quotes, inspections, and repairs with accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced dealership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs; strong metrics are a plus.
• Basic data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Product knowledge of lawn, garden, outdoor power equipment.
• Adequate toolset to perform duties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email/internet.
• Confidentiality in all dealership matters.
• Teamwork and cooperative work style.
• Ability to perform repairs using manuals and special tools.
• Valid driver’s license required; forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair lawn and garden equipment, small tractors, and outdoor power gear.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized.
• Document diagnostics, quotes, inspections, and repairs clearly in work orders.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA protocols in all tasks.
• Complete reports and forms required for work assignments.
• Billable time and work orders documented accurately.
• Communicate repair status clearly to customers and staff.
