Job summary

Castongia’s, Inc. is seeking a Lawn & Garden Service Technician in Rensselaer, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have experience repairing handheld equipment and larger machinery like tractors and UTVs. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, and maintaining tools and equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and ideally some post-secondary education. Good communication skills and the ability to work Saturdays are necessary. A positive attitude and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using special tools.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and complex diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of products from John Deere, Stihl, Honda.
• Complete all reports and forms required for work assignments.

Skills

Experience with service repairs

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associates degree preferred
