Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, guide them to the right products, and resolve home improvement needs. The role involves interacting with customers, locating merchandise, and assisting in multiple departments based on hiring needs and skillsets.

You will spend much of your day listening to customers, answering questions, and keeping merchandise organized with occasional loading duties. Previous retail or bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or similar point-of-sale system.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (phones, tablets, etc.).
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department to meet customer needs (e.g., tint/paint mixing, cutting and threading pipes, cutting and bundling wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
