Job summary

TRU LAND Equipment is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere lawn and garden equipment and other brands sold at the dealership. You will operate tools and vehicles, participate in training, and mentor apprentices while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of service repair experience, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to follow technical manuals. A valid license is required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 1+ years of service repairs experience preferred.
• Ability to follow manuals and procedures with minimal rework.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in turf equipment.
• Valid driver's license; forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere lawn and garden equipment and other brands.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for job duties.
• Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge.
• Mentor apprentices and students as requested.
• Maintain neat work area, track materials, and complete reports promptly.
