Job summary

CHIMES is seeking a dedicated groundskeeper to maintain gardens, lawns, and landscapes at the Carlisle Army Barracks. You will operate hand and power tools, plant shrubs and trees, lay sod, and ensure proper fertilizer and weed control while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, pesticide/herbicide certification, and at least 1 year of landscaping experience. Ability to work nights/weekends for snow removal is needed, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• PA Certification in Core-Pesticide and Herbicide and Ornamental Trees/Shrubs.
• 1 year landscaping experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, plants, trees, and lawns at the assigned location daily.
• Operate hand and power tools and equipment.
• Apply pesticides/herbicides per regulations to protect people and environment.
• Load/unload equipment; transport to job sites; assist with snow removal as needed.
