Job summary

Total Turf Maintenance in Lakeville, MN is seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to guide a two-to-five person crew in daily lawn care. You will train teammates, ensure high-quality mowing, trimming, edging, and safety, and communicate with clients and supervisors to address property needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping is required.
• Leadership or crew management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a two-to-five person crew in daily lawn maintenance.
• Train, mentor, and support crew for high performance.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing to standards.
• Inspect properties daily to ensure quality and address client concerns.
• Operate and maintain commercial mowing and landscaping equipment safely.
• Organize trucks, trailers, and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Promote safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with clients and supervisors about property needs.
• Complete timekeeping and basic equipment maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of two to five team members in daily lawn maintenance operations.
• Train, mentor, and support crew members to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Perform and oversee lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing to maintain properties to company standards.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure quality and address any issues or customer concerns.
• Operate and maintain commercial mowing and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment for optimal operation and safety.
• Promote and enforce company safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding property needs and opportunities.
• Complete required timekeeping and basic equipment maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Compensation

$22-$28 per hour. Salary opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
