Job summary

geckogreen is seeking a Lawn Care Technician in Richardson, Texas, who will apply fertilizers and weed control while driving a company truck. The successful candidate will enjoy an above average salary ranging from $40,000 to $65,000 annually, plus uncapped commission, and will work Monday to Friday.

Candidates must be customer service driven, self-motivated, and able to lift 50lbs. The position offers paid training, a retirement plan, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. Apply fertilizers, weed control, and product to lawns according to route, safety procedures, and label instructions

2. Drive a company truck on a daily route

3. Reply to customer requests for information via telephone, as well as in-person service calls

4. Complete applications in line with customer notes and specifications

5. Provide customers with quotes for additional services as needed

6. Provide potential customers with service quotes based on yard square footage and specific needs

7. Complete production reports, sales forms, and customer invoices daily

8. Communicate with management about any changes to applications throughout the day

Qualifications:

1. Requires valid, permanent drivers license and a clean driving record. This position requires a large amount of driving daily

2. Must be able to pass background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, drug screen and DOT Physical

3. Must be able to lift 50lbs

4. Must not have any DWI's in the last 3 years

5. Must be 21 years of age or older by hiring date

Salary:

$40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year + uncapped commission

Starting compensation is based on level of experience and overall competency.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
