Job summary

Gecko Green Lawn Care and Pest Control in McKinney, TX is hiring entry-level and experienced technicians to join our growing team. You will apply fertilizers, weed control and other products to lawns, and drive a company truck on daily routes.

Responsibilities include responding to customer requests, completing applications, and providing quotes based on yard size, while daily reporting and invoicing are required. Opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Must have valid, permanent driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pass background check, drug screen and DOT physical.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and lift/move equipment safely.
• Must be 21 years or older by hiring date.
• Starting salary based on experience and competency.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, weed control, and product to lawns per route and label.
• Drive a company truck on daily routes.
• Respond to customer requests via telephone and in-person.
• Complete applications following customer notes and specs.
• Provide quotes for additional services as needed.
• Provide service quotes based on yard size and needs.
• Complete production reports, sales forms, and invoices daily.
• Communicate changes to management about applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Apply fertilizers, weed control, and product to lawns according to route, safety procedures, and label instructions

2. Drive a company truck on a daily route

3. Reply to customer requests for information via telephone, as well as in-person service calls

4. Complete applications in line with customer notes and specifications

5. Provide customers with quotes for additional services as needed

6. Provide potential customers with service quotes based on yard square footage and specific needs

7. Complete production reports, sales forms, and customer invoices daily

8. Communicate with management about any changes to applications throughout the day

Qualifications:

2. Must be able to pass background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, drug screen and DOT Physical

3. Must be able to lift 50lbs

4. Must not have any DWI's in the last 3 years

5. Must be 21 years of age or older by hiring date

Salary: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year + uncapped commission

Starting compensation is based on level of experience and overall competency.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
