Job summary

Village Green Landscapes is seeking a full-time Lawn Care Technician / Chemical Applicator based out of our St. Paul office. The role includes year-round employment with potential responsibilities in commercial snow removal during winter.

The position offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits. You will apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns, trees, and ornamentals while maintaining equipment and records, delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial Pesticide Applicator license for core (A) and turf & ornaments (E).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Preferred: Aquatic (F) and insect control (S) licenses.

Responsibilities

• Handle, mix, and apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and chemicals.
• Operate and maintain equipment per safety standards.
• Maintain job status records.
• Proficient in using systems to track/report jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team and leadership.
• Work autonomously with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Make high-quality decisions in fast-paced environments.
