Job Description

Designs By Sundown is seeking full-time Lawn Care Technicians. Overtime and extra pay for snow removal are available. We offer training and educational opportunities to help advance your career. Technicians operate independently, owning their workspace, and have the chance to make a difference with integrative pest management while servicing high-end residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities Based on Skill Level

• Effective client communication and care
• Complete diagnostic reports
• Monitor, diagnose, and treat insect, disease, physiological, and cultural conditions
• Select appropriate products or treatments for each issue
• Apply granular, liquid, and systemic treatments
• Follow industry standards and safety regulations

Experience Requirements

• Valid and clean MVR
• At least 1 year experience operating spray and application equipment
• Knowledge of tree and shrub species native to Colorado and adapted to zones 4-6
• Experience with pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
• Ability to diagnose pest, nutrient, or other landscape issues
• Positive attitude, punctuality, teachability, self-motivation
• Honesty and trustworthiness
• Customer satisfaction focus
• Effective communication skills
