Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a Lawn Care Technician in Michigan. This role requires state certification and experience applying fertilizers, weeds, insects, and turf disease treatments.

You will operate equipment, lift heavy bags, and work independently or with a crew to maintain high-quality lawns. Competitive base pay ranges from $22 to $28+ per hour based on experience, with snow pay, incentives, and a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401(k) with match, and

Qualifications

• Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories 3A, 3B, & 6 mandatory).
• 1 Year of commercial lawn care experience, including operation of ride-on spreader.
• Possess a chauffeur's driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
• Experience driving a truck w/ trailer.
• Basic math skills for measuring/mixing pesticides and calibrating spreaders.
• Possess a Smart phone and use to track time/materials and navigate to properties.
• Ability to work independently or with a crew.
• General lawn/landscape knowledge including grass/weed/disease identification.
• Ability to lift 50 lb bags of fertilizer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories 3A, 3B, & 6 mandatory)
