DJ's Landscape Management in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Lawn Care Technician. Our team members are Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicators, applying fertilizers and treating weeds, insects, and turf diseases.

We promote from within, offer competitive pay, benefits, 401(k), training and career advancement. This full-time role requires a valid pesticide license and the ability to operate equipment and drive a truck with trailer.

Qualifications

• Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Categories 3A, 3B, & 6 mandatory)
• 1 year of commercial lawn care experience including operation of ride-on spreader
• Possess chauffeur's driver’s license or ability to obtain one upon hire
• Experience driving a truck w/ trailer
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing pesticides and calibrating spreaders
• Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties
• Capacity to work independently or with a crew
• General knowledge of lawn & landscape management, grass/weed/disease identification
• Ability to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
