Job summary

Lawn Doctor of Northeastern Illinois & Southeast Wisconsin is hiring a Lawn Care Technician to work outdoors on residential properties, applying fertilizer, weed control, aeration and seeding, and running a daily route. This is a full-time seasonal role with hands-on training and real opportunities to advance.

Compensation includes hourly pay of $20–$25, weekly bonuses, and commissions on upsells, plus a company vehicle during the workday and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and clean record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Reliable and shows up ready to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer, weed control, aeration, and seeding services.
• Run a daily route and complete scheduled applications.
• Work outdoors on residential properties.
• Communicate with customers professionally.
• Use a mobile app to document services.
• Spot lawn issues and recommend solutions.
• Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized.

Schedule
