Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Experience working with diverse constituencies.
• Experience working in diverse educational contexts including HSI, AANAPISI.
• Experience in legal education or practice.
• Thorough knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of multiple majors, colleges, and schools.
• Skills in judgment and decision-making, problem solving.
• Ability to travel in a professional capacity.
• Ability to host and participate in programming and events, occasionally on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduate students and alumni interested in legal careers, from exploration to law school admission.
• Provide counseling on degree requirements and pathways to law school.
• Coordinate programming and events related to pre-law advising.
• Collaborate with colleges, departments and external partners to support student success.
