The University of California, Riverside is looking for a Pre-Law Advisor to support undergraduate students and alumni interested in legal careers. This position collaborates closely with the Health Professions/Pre-Professional Advising Center and CHASS faculty, guiding students through the law school admissions process.
This is a temporary contract position lasting 60 months, with a salary range of $56,000 to $96,400 annually. Compliance with University policies and work authorization is necessary for applicants.
Reporting directly to the Director of the Health Professions/Pre-Professional Advising Center within the Division of Undergraduate Education and working in close collaboration with the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) colleagues within the advising and faculty ranks, the Pre-Law Advisor advises undergraduate students and alumni interested in pursuing careers in the legal professions—from beginning exploration of attending law school through the law school admission process. This joint position is supported by the Division of Undergraduate Education and the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences. The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $96,400.00 annually, with an expected pay scale of $56,000.00 - $66,100.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
