Job summary

Georgetown University Law Center is seeking an Early Outreach Initiative Coordinator to engage high school students through outreach, programming, and relationship building. This seasonal, part-time, in-person role supports admissions and expands access to legal education across local schools and communities.

You will lead panels, build partnerships with counselors and educators, and coordinate programs while traveling regionally for outreach events. A bachelor's degree is required; a J.D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; J.D. preferred.
• Experience in admissions, higher education, community engagement, youth development, outreach or related field.
• Excellent public speaking, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students, educators and partners.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills; multitasking ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new technologies/databases.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends; travel locally/regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead panel discussions and moderate conversations featuring attorneys, students and alumni.
• Build and maintain relationships with school counselors, educators, nonprofits and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate programming and respond to inquiries via email, phone and in-person.
