University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the Assistant Professor-In-Residence in the Academic Success Program at the William S. Boyd School of Law.

This role supports student success, academic performance, and bar readiness across full-time, part-time, and hybrid programs. The incumbent serves as a primary liaison for hybrid students and collaborates with ASP leadership to implement student support and bar initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires Juris Doctor from an accredited institution and successful Bar Exam passage; Nevada or Legacy UBE preferred.
• Teaching and instructional skills to deliver effective classrooms, workshops, and learning experiences for diverse law students.
• Strong communication, advising, mentoring, and professional development support for students across full-time, part-time and hybrid programs.

Responsibilities

• Teach a total of three credit-bearing courses annually.
• Serve as primary contact and liaison for hybrid students’ engagement and support.
• Implement academic success initiatives, bar readiness programming, and student outreach.
• Collaborate with ASP Director and Assistant Director, faculty, staff, and student workers.
