Campbell University Law Library seeks an accomplished, service-oriented law librarian to join its team as a full-time Reference Librarian. This position provides research assistance to faculty, students, and other users of the library and serves as a member of the Faculty Liaison program.

Under the supervision of the Law Library Director, the Reference Librarian is primarily responsible for creating, promoting, and facilitating the use of the library as a technology-rich learning environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• M.L.S. from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Three to five years of library reference experience in an academic law library.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and reference skills with print and electronic resources.

Responsabilités

• Deliver legal research instruction to law students via lectures, workshops, and online resources.
• Provide research and reference support to the Campbell Law School community.
• Liaise with assigned faculty to support scholarship and teaching.
• Develop and promote new library services and programs for physical and virtual presence.
• Identify and evaluate new resources through collection development participation.
• Serve on library, law school, and professional committees.
• Uphold Campbell University policies including FERPA and information security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
