Campbell University Law Library in Raleigh, NC seeks a full-time Reference Librarian to provide research assistance to faculty, students, and users, and participate in the Faculty Liaison program. The Reference Librarian will help create, promote, and facilitate a technology-rich learning environment and contribute to instructional programs.

The role involves delivering legal research instruction, supporting scholarship, and developing research guides while contributing to collection development

Qualificações

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• MLS from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Three to five years of library reference experience in an academic law library.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and reference skills with demonstrated expertise in print and electronic resources.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver legal research instruction to law students through guest lectures, library-sponsored research workshops, and online learning resources.
• Provide research and reference support to the Campbell Law School community.
• Serve as liaison to assigned faculty members providing support for scholarship and teaching.
• Contribute to the development of new library services and programs that improve the library’s physical and virtual presence.
• Identify and evaluate new resources through participation in the collection development process.
• Serve on library, law school, and other professional committees.
• Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including FERPA and information security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
