Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm or related setting.

ProspectBlue is seeking a Law Firm Conflicts Analyst on behalf of a leading international law firm.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in supporting business intake, conflicts analysis, and risk management within a sophisticated legal environment.

The Law Firm Conflicts Analyst will identify, analyze, and help resolve potential conflicts of interest and client relationship concerns associated with new clients, matters, and lateral attorney hires. Working closely with attorneys, Business Intake Lawyers, and other legal professionals, this individual will gather and evaluate information, conduct research, and support compliance with applicable professional conduct rules and firm policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conflicts Analysis & Resolution: Identify, evaluate, and assist in resolving potential conflicts of interest and client relationship issues involving new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
• Information Gathering & Verification: Collect, analyze, supplement, and verify client, party, and matter information necessary to assess potential conflicts.
• Research & Database Queries: Conduct conflicts database searches, corporate research, and related investigations to identify potential risks and relevant relationships.
• Attorney Collaboration: Partner with attorneys and firm staff to gather information, clarify client identities, and address conflicts-related questions.
• Risk Management: Review new business requests and identify potential professional responsibility and firm risk management concerns.
• Reporting & Communication: Communicate research findings to attorneys and collaborate with Business Intake Lawyers to determine appropriate resolutions.
• Policy Compliance: Apply firm policies and guidance from Business Intake Lawyers and the Office of General Counsel when evaluating and addressing conflicts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within a law firm, professional services organization, or client-focused environment.
• Experience in conflicts analysis, legal research, client intake, compliance, or risk management is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High standards of ethics, integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and professionals across multiple teams.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Sound judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to comply with the firm's in-office policy; travel may be required.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $79,000–$106,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, training, and other relevant factors. The firm offers competitive compensation, including salaries and bonuses, along with a range of benefits and wellness programs.
