Job summary

PinnacleConnect LLC seeks a Controller for its Uniondale, New York office. The role leads all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy of financial data and robust controls across billing, receivables, payables, and reporting.

The candidate will coordinate monthly and annual closes and work with external tax and audit professionals. Required CPA and recent Accounting Manager or Controller experience, with preference for law firm background.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Recent experience as Accounting Manager or Controller.
• Experience in a law firm setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the firm’s accounting and finance functions.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations: billing, receivables, payables, reporting, and controls.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and systems.
• Oversee monthly and annual close processes; coordinate with external tax and audit professionals.
• Maintain partner and firm operation financial records.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior leadership.
• Provide financial guidance to support business planning and decision-making.
