Job summary

CFS, a Fort Lauderdale law firm, seeks a Law Firm Controller to oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll, with high visibility and partnership with firm leadership.

Responsibilities include revenue collections, cash flow forecasting, trust accounting compliance, reconciliations, reporting, and Juris software use. A bachelor’s degree is required; experience in law firms and with billable hours is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the law firm industry including experience with billable hours.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• Juris software experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll.
• Manage revenue collections and cash flow forecasting (core focus).
• Maintain and ensure compliance with trust accounting requirements.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.
• Utilize and manage accounting processes within Juris software.
