Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Benefits for a Downtown Houston law firm. The role leads a small Benefits team, oversees complex health, welfare and retirement programs, and manages compliance across ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and IRS requirements.

The position offers a hybrid work model with four onsite days and one remote day weekly. The candidate should bring 7+ years of benefits leadership within a law firm, strong vendor management, and excellent

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive benefits experience including health, welfare, retirement, leave administration, and compliance.
• Significant law-firm benefits experience is required.
• Strong understanding of benefits for partners, associates, counsel, attorneys, and professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of Benefits Administrators, setting priorities and coaching.
• Oversee day-to-day benefits operations, including health, welfare, retirement, leave programs, renewals, and compliance.
• Serve as a benefits SME and provide guidance on plan provisions and regulatory matters.
