Job summary

A local government agency is seeking Law Clerks to assist Judges in research and writing for court decisions. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Candidates must be current students at an ABA accredited law school or hold a Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school. Job description

Perry County is accepting applications for Law Clerks until 4:00 p.m. November 7, 2025. This position is responsible to assist the Judges in research and writing to aid in the efficient and timely operation of court decisions. Duties include:

• Research of statutory and case law
• Write opinions and/or summaries of cases
• Maintain subject matter files
• Update the law library

Part-time and full-time openings are available. Position requires a current student at an ABA accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study, or a Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school.
