Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Soccer Instructor to lead young athletes and deliver safe, engaging instruction. You will run practices, emphasize fundamentals, sportsmanship, and fun, and help create a positive youth sports culture on the field.

The role requires strong communication, soccer coaching knowledge, weekend availability, and the ability to manage field setup, equipment, and parent communication during games and practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills/public speaking.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~6 weeks).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old).
• Set up and Clean up sports fields/equipment.
• Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (~8:00 am-2:00 pm).
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values-everyone gets a turn and gets the ball.
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provide instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.
