i9 Sports - NW Montgomery, Laurel, & Glen Burnie, MD, is seeking a Soccer Instructor to lead youth players on weekends and during the season. You will deliver engaging instruction, manage on-field sessions and reinforce sportsmanship and safety across ages 3–14.

You will set up and break down fields, coordinate with families, and provide a positive, fun-filled experience that emphasizes growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills or public speaking ability.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to work weekends and some evenings for the season (~6 weeks).
• Must have reliable transportation to venue locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development and fun for ages 3–14.
• Set up and clean up sports fields and equipment.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays outdoors from ~8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide superior customer service.

Job Summary

The Soccer Instructor is a hands-on position that will lead athletes and provide instruction in their designated sport. The Sport Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun for all age groups (3-14 years old)
• Set up and Clean up sports fields/equipment
• Saturday & Sunday shifts-outdoors (~8:00 am-2:00 pm)
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values-everyone gets a turn and gets the ball
• Communicate game day information to players and parents on the field
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~6 weeks)
