Pay Rate: $13.75 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
2. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
4. Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
5. Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Previous laundry experience is a plus but not required.
3. Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication skills.
4. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
5. Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
6. Ability to work around cleaning products.
7. Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
8. Residency within the service area is required.
