This 400,000-square-foot multi-specialty ambulatory center encompasses a Comprehensive Cancer and Women’s Health Center, 12 ambulatory surgery operating rooms, and multispecialty physician practices. Our new state-of-the-art building features three 600-ton chillers, five air handling units, and Schneider control systems.

Laundry Worker – Center for Community Health – Evening Shift

In this role, the Laundry Worker performs a variety of tasks within the laundry department.

This is a part-time evening shift position, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am, including weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• One year experience in laundry setting preferred.

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Ability to endure strenuous work under extreme heat conditions and prolonged standing.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods; work involves standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift, pull, and push 10 pounds at intervals.
