Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure comfortable and safe resident experiences by keeping supplies readily available.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry, operating equipment safely, and following infection control policies. Prior laundry experience is preferred but not required; strong teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
