Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to support a long-term care facility by maintaining clean linens and garments. The role emphasizes reliable laundry service and positive resident interactions.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, follow infection control policies, and communicate effectively with staff and residents. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.=
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required
