Job summary

Four Seasons Naples Beach Club is seeking a Laundry Attendant to sort, wash, press and deliver linens for a luxury resort. You will handle towels, sheets, napkins and uniforms, ensuring timely processing and pristine presentation.

The role supports Housekeeping and Valet Dry Cleaning, with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Experience in hospitality is preferred, along with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year hospitality or related work experience.
• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, processes and folds Rooms and F&B linens such as sheets, towels, table clothes, and napkins.
• Sorts linens and loads onto appropriate washing or ironing equipment.
• Operates folding equipment, washer, dryer, and iron; reports problems to manager.
• Assists guests requiring cleaning or pressing services and provides receipts.
• Delivers cleaned clothing to guest rooms on request and returns items timely.

About the role:

Sorts, processes and folds Rooms and F&B linens such as sheets, towels, table clothes, and napkins.

Whatyou willdo:

• -Sorts used linens, clean towels,rugsand robes intoappropriate categoriesfor off-site washing. Sorts out stained or torn linen. Loads and unloads carts. Usestowel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths,rugsand robes. Places folded product onappropriate rack.
• -Shakes wet sheets, tablelinensand napkins prior to ironingin order tospread them out. Feeds washed linens intoironer. Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens asappropriate.
• -Operates andmaintainsfolding equipment, washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel,presserand iron. Reports any problems or deficiencies tomanager.
• -Answers telephone calls from guests requiring cleaning or pressing services. Logs the request and goes to Guest Room to pick up the clothing that needs service. Ascertains time completed goods arerequired. Counts the items and givesguesta completed receipt. Marks guest clothing for identification.
• -Sorts guest items forappropriate action(Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment, using theappropriate temperatureand chemicals. Once processed,foldsorhangsthe clothing as desired. Delivers clothing toguestattimedesired.
• -Sorts employee uniforms forappropriate action(Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment using theappropriate temperatureand chemicals. Once processed,hangsandtransportsclean uniforms to Housekeeping.
• -Complies withFour Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth inEmPact.
• -Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• -Assistswith responsibilities and duties in the absence of or during heavy volume in the areas of Laundry, Valet Dry Cleaning, and Housekeeping.
